Bilal Mahmood, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at UR Medicine who focuses on hand, elbow, and peripheral nerve surgery. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center and a hand surgery fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery, and he serves as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester. In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to orthopaedic outcomes research, including a URMC-reported study on hip-fracture survival and hospital length of stay.
