Biography
David J. Mitten, M.D. is a University of Rochester orthopaedic surgeon and professor in orthopaedics, with a joint faculty appointment in plastic surgery. He earned his MD at Rochester, completed his orthopaedic surgery residency there, and went on to fellowship training at UCLA. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as director of the UR Health Lab, a multidisciplinary program focused on healthcare innovation and technology, and he is part of the Eastman Performing Arts Medicine team that cares for performing artists.
