Biography
Joseph B. Kuechle, MD, PhD, is an orthopedic oncologist and reconstructive surgeon in Buffalo who serves as an assistant professor of oncology, surgery at Roswell Park and a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He earned both his MD and PhD in bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University at Buffalo, and went on to fellowship training in musculoskeletal oncology at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital. His professional focus includes musculoskeletal oncology as well as lower-extremity joint replacement and reconstruction, with published work spanning topics such as Ewing sarcoma and osteonecrosis of the knee.
