Biography
Dr. John Gassler is a Rochester cardiologist with long-standing ties to the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he served as an assistant professor in the Cardiology Unit and helped bring CT angiography into clinical use at Strong Memorial Hospital. His training includes medical school at Mount Sinai, an internal medicine residency at Duke, a cardiology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Rochester. He has also co-authored peer-reviewed cardiovascular research, including work on resistant hypertension.
