Biography
John F. Richeson, MD is a Rochester cardiologist and Professor Emeritus of Medicine at UR Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, completed both his internal medicine residency and cardiology training at URMC, and joined the faculty in 1979; the University of Rochester credits him with a prominent role in the growth of its specialized cardiology services. In recognition of his long clinical and mentoring career, URMC later named the Frank Richeson, MD Cardiology Patient Care Assistance Program in his honor.
