Biography
Himabindu Vidula, MD, MS is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist who serves as Director of the VAD Program at Penn Medicine and is an associate professor of medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her residency and cardiology fellowship training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. A distinguishing part of her background is national leadership in the field: she was named chair of the American College of Cardiology’s Board of Governors for 2024-25.
