Dr. Amit Bansal is a UR Medicine cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester whose training includes an internal medicine residency at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at United Health Services Hospitals. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, adult comprehensive echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. At UR Medicine, he serves as medical director of the cardio-oncology clinic; that same profile notes he trained in cardio-oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Roswell Park and previously held leadership roles in upstate New York, including director of quality for the Department of Medicine at Rochester General Hospital.
