Biography
Dr. Gregg Nicandri is a University of Rochester Medical Center professor of orthopaedics and board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with additional board certification in sports medicine and clinical informatics. He completed orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Washington and a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at Duke, where he also served as an assistant team physician for Duke football and basketball, according to a URMC profile. A distinguishing part of his work at Rochester is his leadership as the health system’s Chief Medical Information Officer, alongside research and teaching focused on surgical skills training and technology-enabled care.
