Biography
Sarah Lander, MD, is a UR Medicine orthopaedic surgeon and assistant professor of Orthopaedics who is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. Her training included orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Duke; after joining URMC faculty in 2021, she brought experience from Duke’s Division I football, basketball, and soccer programs. She is also active in academic sports medicine, with published research and textbook chapters, and has received URMC’s Louis A. and Mildred M. Goldstein Orthopaedic Research Award.
