Biography
Ilya Voloshin, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at UR Medicine, where he serves as Chief of the Shoulder Division and a professor of orthopaedics. He earned his medical degree from Dartmouth, completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and went on to fellowship training in shoulder surgery at Columbia. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, he has longstanding research interests in shoulder disorders and surgical device innovation, including a patented distal biceps tendon repair device, and has also served as team physician for the Rochester Knighthawks.
