Biography
Rebecca Schallek, MD, PhD is a cardiologist with UR Medicine whose background combines clinical cardiology with doctoral training in pharmacology. She earned her medical degree and PhD at SUNY Upstate Medical University, then completed her internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Rochester, where she also serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. She is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is a co-director of UR Medicine’s Women’s Heart Program, reflecting a particular focus on cardiovascular care for women.
