Sabu Thomas, MD is a cardiologist at UR Medicine whose work centers on advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac imaging. At the University of Rochester, he is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Imaging Sciences and directs the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship. Dr. Thomas trained in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic and Washington University in St. Louis, followed by cardiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, and his published work has addressed heart failure, perioperative cardiovascular outcomes, and device-based therapy.
