Biography
Kaci Schiavone, MD, is a bariatric surgeon with UR Medicine and Highland Hospital, where she also serves as an assistant professor in the University of Rochester Department of Surgery. She earned her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, completed her general surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and pursued advanced GI and minimally invasive surgery fellowship training at the University at Buffalo. She has also contributed to bariatric outcomes research, including co-authorship of the international BLEND Study.
