Robert Galpin, MD

Robert D. Galpin, MD, FRCSC, is an orthopaedic surgeon whose work has centered on pediatric orthopaedics, scoliosis, and sports medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario, completed orthopaedic surgery residency there, and later finished a pediatric orthopaedic surgery fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children. His UBMD profile also notes his longtime teaching role at the University at Buffalo and multiple Teacher of the Year honors, and UBMD has highlighted his use of magnet-assisted bone-lengthening treatment in a pediatric case.
