Michael Ferrick, MD

Michael R. Ferrick, MD is a board-certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine who also serves as a professor of orthopaedics at the University at Buffalo. His background includes fellowship training in pediatric and spine surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, and he is the medical director of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. A distinguishing part of his career is his prior service as an attending orthopaedic surgeon and Army officer at Darnall Army Hospital, alongside ongoing academic work that includes recent publications in pediatric orthopaedics.
