Biography
Dr. Yaron Perry is a Buffalo thoracic surgeon and Chief of Service for Cardiothoracic Surgery at ECMC. He has also served in senior academic leadership at the University at Buffalo, including chief of thoracic surgery, medical director of the Comprehensive Center for Thoracic Malignancies, and co-director of robotic surgery. A graduate of the Hebrew University School of Medicine, he completed advanced surgical training at UPMC, Geisinger, and Allegheny General Hospital, and is board certified in both general and thoracic surgery. Public institutional profiles also note that he previously developed and directed a minimally invasive robotic thoracic surgery program at University Hospitals in Cleveland, and helped build thoracic oncology services across multiple Buffalo-area hospitals.
