Stephen D. Rycyna, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with Invision Health in Western New York. A cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, he earned his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, completed a rotating internship at Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco, and returned to Buffalo for residency training in orthopaedic surgery at SUNY Buffalo. His background also includes long-running sports and event medicine roles, including 13 years as team doctor for the Buffalo Bandits and medical director service for the Buffalo Marathon, the World University Games in Buffalo, and the 1980 and 1984 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials.
