Biography
Dr. Michael J. Ostempowski is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon at Excelsior Orthopaedics in Western New York, with a practice focused on arthritis care and joint replacement, including outpatient hip and knee replacement. A Buffalo native, he earned his biology degree from Canisius College and his medical degree from the University at Buffalo, then completed orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Cincinnati and a joint replacement and cartilage reconstruction fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. He previously practiced with Buffalo Orthopaedic Group before joining Excelsior as part of the region’s larger orthopaedic care network.
