Biography
Dr. Krishna M. Rao is a UR Medicine cardiologist in Rochester with longstanding experience in cardiovascular care and a faculty appointment in cardiology at the University of Rochester. He completed medical school and early internal medicine/cardiology training in India, followed by internship, internal medicine residency, and cardiology fellowship training at SUNY Health Science Center. Rao is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and he was part of the longstanding Rochester Cardiopulmonary Group when it joined UR Medicine in 2015.
