Biography
Thomas P. Curran, MD is a cardiologist with UR Medicine and a professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Rochester. He earned his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and completed his internal medicine training and cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A distinguishing part of his current role is his academic and health-system leadership: UR Medicine named him vice chief of Clinical Cardiology Services, and he later stepped in as acting chief of cardiology after joining the medical center in 2015 with colleagues from the former Rochester Cardiopulmonary Group.
