Biography
Akram Talhouk, MD, FACS, is a Buffalo-based general surgeon who earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed general surgery residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System. In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to the surgical literature, including a Lancet paper on hemorrhagic shock and a case report on a complication following laparoscopic treatment of gastric volvulus.
