Andrew Bennett Nordin, MD

Dr. Andrew Nordin is a pediatric surgeon at Oishei Children’s Hospital and a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo. He trained at Baylor College of Medicine, completed general surgery residency at the University at Buffalo, and also completed pediatric surgical critical care and quality-improvement research training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital before finishing a pediatric surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. At Oishei, he serves as trauma medical director of the hospital’s ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center and as pediatric ICU surgical director, with clinical and research interests that include pediatric trauma, burns, neonatal surgical critical care, ECMO, and minimally invasive surgery.
