Biography
James Hassett, MD, is a longtime Buffalo surgeon and an emeritus professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo. At UB, he also served as director of the surgical residency program and was involved in educational work on communication skills and resident training. He later contributed to UB’s early simulation-based robotic surgery curriculum, a program the school said went on to be used by training centers nationally and internationally.
