Biography
Dr. Michael T. O'Leary is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon at Excelsior Orthopaedics in Western New York with a clinical focus on shoulder, arm, and elbow care, including shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, and arthritis. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Buffalo after studying applied mathematics at the University of Rochester, then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester and a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He is also affiliated with Kenmore Mercy Hospital, and his published work includes research on reverse shoulder arthroplasty during his MedStar training, including a 2023 study in Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
