Biography
Joseph Pollichemi, MD, is a Buffalo-trained surgeon who completed medical school and general surgery residency at the University at Buffalo and is now a Surgical Critical Care fellow there after finishing his general surgery training. During residency, he was recognized with the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award by University at Buffalo medical students, and he has also contributed to surgical outcomes research through the university’s bariatric surgery program.
