Biography
Matthew J. DiPaola, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and a clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University at Buffalo. He completed a fellowship in reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery at University Hospital for Joint Diseases after orthopaedic training at Thomas Jefferson University, and previously led the shoulder and elbow service and orthopaedic surgical simulation laboratory at the Dayton VA Medical Center and Wright State. His research work in shoulder surgery has earned national recognition, including the 2021 Charles S. Neer Award from the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.
