Biography
Michael Chaskes, MD, is a Buffalo-area cardiologist with longstanding ties to the University at Buffalo, where he has served as an assistant professor of medicine in cardiovascular medicine and was recognized by medical students for teaching. In UB reporting, he has also been described as vice chair for clinical operations and outreach and medical director of outpatient cardiology. His scholarly work has included cardiology research on smartphone-based arrhythmia detection and atrial fibrillation screening in high-risk nursing home residents.
