Biography
Dr. Thom Loree is chief of Head & Neck and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at ECMC and chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He earned his MD from George Washington University, completed surgery and plastic surgery training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, and went on to a head and neck surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Before joining ECMC, he spent nearly 20 years at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, including 12 years as chair of its Department of Head & Neck/Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and his academic work has included research and publications in head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery.
