James D. Gallagher, MD is a cardiac electrophysiologist with UR Medicine and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester. He earned his MD from George Washington University, completed internal medicine training at the University of Utah, and then completed both cardiology and clinical electrophysiology fellowships at the University of Rochester Medical Center. His practice focuses on heart-rhythm disorders, with particular expertise in atrial fibrillation ablation and in managing pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices.
