Biography
Emily C. Battaglia, MD, is a cardiologist with UR Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Rochester. She completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and cardiology fellowship at the University at Buffalo, later practicing in Buffalo after fellowship before returning to the Rochester area, according to the University at Buffalo’s fellowship placement record. A distinguishing part of her current work is her role on UR Medicine’s Women’s Heart Health team, and she has also co-authored published research on the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation in the Journal of the American Heart Association.
