Biography
Dr. Clairice A. Cooper is a trauma surgeon at ECMC and a University at Buffalo faculty member who serves as program director of the general surgery residency. She earned her MD at UB in 2009, completed her general surgery residency there in 2014, and later completed a surgical critical care fellowship in 2018. A distinguishing part of her background is her parallel commitment to medical education, including a master's degree in health professions education alongside her leadership in training future surgeons.
