Dr. Ronald G. Schwartz is a cardiologist at UR Medicine, where he serves as Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET/CT and holds faculty appointments as Professor of Medicine and Professor of Imaging Sciences. He earned his M.D. with distinction in research from the University of Rochester, completed internal medicine training at Hennepin County Medical Center, and went on to fellowship training at Yale. A distinguishing part of his background is his long-standing focus on cardiac imaging and preventive cardiology, including work connected to nutrition and lipid management.
