Uriel Morav Halbreich, MD

Uriel Halbreich, MD, is a professor of psychiatry and director of biobehavioral research at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He earned his medical degree from Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School and completed a fellowship in biological psychiatry at Columbia University; his academic work has focused on the biology of affective disorders, stress, and women’s mental health. University at Buffalo has also recognized him as a Fulbright-Nehru Award recipient and noted his leadership in international psychiatric collaboration.
