Evelyn Coggins, MD

Dr. Evelyn M. Coggins is a Buffalo psychiatrist with longstanding academic and public-sector forensic psychiatry roles. She is a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the University at Buffalo and serves as chief psychiatrist for Erie County Forensic Mental Health, with board certification in both psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. Her training at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University and more than 25 years of work in outpatient, partial hospital, and correctional settings distinguish a career focused on serious mental illness and forensic care in Western New York.
