Biography
Dr. John J. Callahan is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and hand specialist with Excelsior Orthopaedics and ECMC, where he focuses on conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and forearm. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, completed his internship and orthopaedic residency through Boston University–affiliated hospitals, and went on to fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery at UC San Diego. A University of Notre Dame graduate, Dr. Callahan also holds American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certification in both orthopaedic surgery and surgery of the hand.
