Biography
Dr. Norma C. Panahon is a Buffalo psychiatrist who earned her medical degree from the University of the Philippines Manila in 1967. The APA Foundation notes that she previously served as medical director of outpatient services at Buffalo Psychiatric Center and later became known for national advocacy on behalf of international medical graduates, including leadership roles within the American Psychiatric Association and as president of Philippine Psychiatrists in America; she also received the APA’s George Tarjan Award in 2004.
