Biography
Dr. Mark Anders is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at ECMC and serves as director of orthopaedic trauma services there, with a practice focused on complex musculoskeletal injuries as well as hip and knee reconstruction. He is also a clinical associate professor at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, where his background includes medical school at the University of Wisconsin, orthopaedic residency at UB, and fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma at Henry Ford Hospital. A distinguishing part of his career is his role as one of the surgeons who helped design a hip fracture implant and his ongoing academic work in orthopaedic trauma and fracture care.
