Josie Lim Olympia, MD

Dr. Josie L. Olympia is a psychiatrist in Buffalo and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Her UB faculty profile notes that she received her medical education from the University of the Philippines, completed a rotating internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee, and went on to complete psychiatric residency training at Buffalo Psychiatric Center. She later served as chief of the Mental Health Clinic at the Buffalo VA Medical Center from 1981 to 1998, and has also held leadership roles at Buffalo Psychiatric Center, including director of CME. Dr. Olympia has additionally contributed to psychiatric scholarship, including co-authoring work published in JAMA Psychiatry.
