Biography
Dr. Michael C. Stanton is a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Rochester Regional Health. A Rochester native, he earned his biology degree at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he played four years of varsity basketball, received his MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University, completed orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester, and went on to fellowship training at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He currently serves as Rochester Regional’s Director of Sports Medicine, provides orthopedic care for RIT and several local high school athletic programs, and is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
