Biography
John Marquardt, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon who earned his medical degree at Duke and completed both general surgery and orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Rochester. According to his USF faculty profile, he later returned to Rochester for a joint appointment in orthopaedic surgery and emergency medicine, received the orthopaedic attending teaching award twice there, and now serves as chief of orthopaedic surgery at the James A. Haley VA while teaching as core faculty for the USF orthopaedic residency. His clinical focus includes reconstructive hip and knee surgery.
