Biography
Sandeep Mannava, MD, PhD is an orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon at UR Medicine and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester. He completed the Steadman Philippon Sports Medicine Fellowship after orthopaedic surgery training and PhD study at Wake Forest, and earned his MD at SUNY Upstate. His work combines shoulder and knee surgery with active academic research on post-traumatic arthritis and rotator cuff disease, and he has also served as a volunteer physician with U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
