Biography
Dr. Emily Carmody is an orthopaedic oncologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center and a member of the Wilmot Cancer Institute, with faculty roles in orthopaedics and a practice focused on musculoskeletal tumors, osteoporosis, and adult reconstructive surgery. She earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry with distinction in research and completed orthopaedic surgery residency and an orthopaedic oncology fellowship at the University of Florida, and she is described by Auburn Community Hospital as board certified and fellowship trained. Before returning to Rochester, she provided orthopaedic oncology care from 2010 to 2013 at Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
