Biography
Dr. Cynthia Pristach is a Buffalo psychiatrist who has spent much of her career at Erie County Medical Center, where she serves as chief psychiatrist at the Regional Behavioral Health Center of Excellence. She is also a professor of clinical psychiatry at the University at Buffalo, where she has led residency training in psychiatry and helped shape the department’s medical educator track. Pristach earned her MD from the University at Buffalo in 1983 and is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
