Biography
Dr. Lisa A. Beck is a UR Medicine dermatologist and University of Rochester faculty physician whose career has focused on atopic dermatitis and eczema. She completed dermatology residency at Duke and a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and her research helped lay the groundwork for dupilumab, the first biologic approved for moderate to severe eczema; she also founded URMC Dermatology’s Clinical Trials Unit, reflecting a longstanding role in translating skin-disease research into patient care.
