Alice P. Pentland, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and professor and chair of dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan and has particular expertise in adult blistering skin disorders, including pemphigus and bullous pemphigoid, as noted on the department’s faculty page. Her academic work has focused on skin carcinogenesis and cell differentiation, with research support from major funders including the NIH and NSF.
