Randy N Rosier, M.D.

Randy N. Rosier, MD, PhD, is an orthopaedic oncologist and professor emeritus at the University of Rochester Medical Center. After earning his MD and PhD in biophysics at Rochester, he completed orthopaedic training at the University of Iowa and returned to Rochester, where he helped create the region’s orthopaedic oncology service and later served as chair of Orthopaedics while establishing the Center for Musculoskeletal Research. His career has also included a substantial research program in cartilage biology, osteoporosis, and bone tumors, and he was recognized nationally with the Alfred R. Shands Jr., MD Award for contributions to orthopaedics.
