Biography
Nathan B. Kaplan, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with UR Medicine and Highland Hospital whose practice focuses on hip and knee replacement and complex joint reconstruction. He earned his medical degree at the University at Buffalo, completed orthopaedic residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and went on to fellowship training in orthopaedic surgery at Indiana University. Dr. Kaplan is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and serves as an associate professor in the University of Rochester’s Department of Orthopaedics; during training, he also received a URMC orthopaedic research award for work related to revision hip arthroplasty and patient outcomes after joint replacement.
