Biography
Mary Gail Mercurio, MD, is a University of Rochester dermatologist and professor with a joint appointment in obstetrics and gynecology. A graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, she completed her dermatology residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and went on to lead Rochester's dermatology residency program for many years. Her professional work has centered on women's dermatologic health, including vulvar skin disease and hair disorders, and she was later elected to the American Board of Dermatology's board of directors.
