P. Christopher Cook, M.D.

P. Christopher Cook, MD, is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at UR Medicine, where he serves as chief of the pediatric orthopaedic division and holds faculty appointments as a professor of orthopaedics and the Agnes E. Griffith Distinguished Professor in Pediatric Mobility. Board certified in orthopaedic surgery, he trained at the University of Alberta and completed a fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. URMC notes that he was recruited to Rochester from Dartmouth-Hitchcock and had previously practiced in Pittsburgh and Halifax, with particular expertise in hip dysplasia and other complex hip conditions; his published work also includes pediatric hip diagnosis and treatment.
