Biography
Dr. Anna De Benedetto is an associate professor of dermatology at UR Medicine whose career has centered on atopic dermatitis and related inflammatory skin disease. After completing medical school and dermatology residency training in Italy, she continued advanced dermatology training at the University of Rochester and now serves as director of the department’s clinical trials unit, where she oversees studies bringing new therapies to patients. Her academic work has focused on the interaction between the skin barrier and the immune system, and she is also a co-author of recent atopic dermatitis guideline highlights.
